Mrs. Arbizu's Message

Dear Heritage Families,

Welcome to the 2026-27 school year!  I look forward to our continued work together toward our mission of “ensuring that students reach their highest potential through engaging, rigorous curriculum, a safe, caring environment, and a supportive partnership between staff, parents, and students. Through this shared commitment, we uphold the Heritage tradition of academic excellence and strong character.”

Last year was very successful for our Eagles as they continued to make gains by increasing our state test scores in math, language arts, and science. As we begin a new school year, we are grateful for the many years of dedication and service our retiring teachers Mrs. Juliot, Mrs. Bater, Mr. Anton, and Mrs. Booth gave to Heritage. Their lasting impact on generations of students will always be a part of our school. At the same time, we are excited to welcome several new teachers to our Heritage family this year. They bring a variety of backgrounds, experiences, and fresh perspectives that will enrich our classrooms while embracing the traditions and values that make Heritage so special. Together, they will help build the next generation of Heritage excellence, and we look forward to the positive contributions they will make to our students and school community.

We look forward to a great year of family events and student support sponsored by our VIPA (Very Important Parent Association). Please plan on supporting our VIPA with your membership, meeting attendance, event participation, and volunteer hours this year. VIPA not only provides family events to build community, they do critical fundraising that directly supports classrooms, field trips, and student programs.

We believe in supporting our families by keeping them informed.  Please look forward to receiving regular communication via email, newsletters, text messages, Class Dojo, phone calls, and flyers. Also, visit our website at: ths.snowlineschools.com regularly which contains important school information, news, and a calendar of event dates. Don’t forget to attend our quarterly Early Bird Breakfast with the Principal events.  If you have any questions, please contact your child’s teacher or the school office personnel. Our office is open Monday through Friday from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm and our phone number is (760) 868-2422.

Thank you for choosing The Heritage School and committing to a partnership with us to ensure the highest levels of learning for your child. By joining this unique community, you have set your child up to Soar to Academic Success!  Please review our website and this Parent Handbook which is intended to help you understand the policies, procedures, and commitments that outline our work together as symbolized by The Heritage Partnership Triangle and our Mission and Vision Statements.  This coming year begins with all the hope and excitement that together, we can fulfill the promise of student success as they pursue their dreams and endless possibilities for their futures.

Wishing you the very best in 2026-27!

Sincerely,

Debbie Arbizu
