The Season begins on February 21st at Serrano High School.

IF YOUR CHILD IS A PART OF the SOCCER TEAM or BASKETBALL TEAM,

THEY CAN STILL PARTICIPATE!!

Dear parents,

Here are a couple book keeping items to be aware of:

1. Turn in a current, complete Athlete Physical to ASB, Room 15, as soon as possible if you have not competed in a sport this school year. ATHLETE CAN NOT COMPETE OR PRACTICE WITHOUT A PHYSICAL
2. $25 cash participation fee TO ASB, not the front office. Due March 10TH.
3. Students must maintain a 2.0 GPA to practice and compete.

Official Practice will begin February 20th

Practice will be Monday 6:15-7:30 AM at Heritage MS; Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 4:15-5:30 at Serrano HS.

Practice will begin promptly on time. It will more than likely be cold, please be prepared for any type of weather by bringing the correct gear. Athletes should always have running shoes, shorts, running shirt, sweater/jackets/windbreaker, sweatpants, and most importantly water.

We will have Saturday morning practices at Serrano High School. Time TBD.

No practice on WEDNESDAY

Meets will be held every Friday in April and League Finals will be held the first week of May. Location of each Meet will vary (dates and locations will be in a calendar being currently completed). TRANSPORTATION IS NOT PROVIDED, STUDENTS MUST FIND THEIR OWN TRANSPORTATION. 

If you cannot find a ride to and from the meet, or are able to take other athletes to the meets, please reach out to me beforehand so we can arrange carpools. Athletes will be lent a Jersey but will have to provide their own shorts for Meets. As with practice, the weather at meets is usually the coldest day of the week, please bring gear to stay warm!!

Track Spikes are recommended for Meets, the shoes are light and provide excellent traction and speed! You can find them at Big 5, Dick’s Sporting Goods, and sometimes Ross and Burlington Coat Factory. Three websites I have purchased them cheap are:

        We will host a Meet at Serrano on APRIL 28TH and will NEED volunteers. Please let me know if you can lend a hand.

I will have a season calendar with practice dates, Meet location and time, and Saturday practice. I will be in contact as much as possible, feel free to reach me whenever you would like. I am here to help our students be the best they can be and with your help this team’s potential is limitless.
